The first stages of the exploration of Space, in particular the period pertaining to human space travel, represent such a significant milestone in human history, that this Soviet Spacesuit for sale from the 1980s is a must buy – as long as you have a spare $185,000. [As always with unique items, particularly when they are relatively high value, please ensure you make independent checks as to both the value and the provenance before entering in to any transactions. We're not doubting the authenticity of this or any other item we write about but Buyer Beware.]
Available for sale on Ebay, the listing details how this spacesuit is the “ORLAN-D” FOR SALYUT-7 CREWS and, interestingly, how 'Svetlana Savitskaya used the same spacesuit model in 1984 for the world's first female spacewalk'. Svetlana may have used this particular suit in training however the seller is unable to provide that level of detail.

Let us know what you would do with this spacesuit if you bought it. This is likely a museum-quality piece so it could of course be displayed in a public or private collection of space-travel related items, or perhaps someone in the space industry (and there a surprising number of companies operating in the sector now) would like it displayed in their home. Perhaps not in a man cave (unless the man cave is something really special) but certainly we can see it being displayed in a large reception room of a grand house – an incredible talking point for any dinner party.
