There's a €250k pirate ship for sale in Spain. Need we say more?
This beautiful galleon, built in 1951, is exactly what you'd expect if you asked one of your minions to find you a pirate ship. Externally and internally, it looks just perfect and was sufficiently impressive to be featured on a TV series about pirates.
For sale in Gandia, a port on the Eastern coast of Spain, the 23.9m vessel was sailed up until March 2021 and then was put back in to the water in June 2021. Therefore whilst it will of course be prudent to carry out the necessary pre-purchase checks, this is a sea-worthy ship capable of being a very successful commercial enterprise.
As the pirate ship's broker, Network Yacht Brokers Group Barcelona, explains in their listing, the boat has a variety of potential business uses – being already equipped to hold functions for 125 people when at port and having a bar, chill out area, air conditioning, cellar etc.
In a popular tourist area it is easy to imagine a pirate ship being a huge draw for all ages, perhaps with themed birthday parties for children by day and operating as a unique bar in the evening for adults. Also, let's not forget that for €250k you could just channel your inner pirate and keep it as a private vessel to entertain friends and family.
One final thing, if you want a really high quality wax model of Johnny Depp in full Pirates of the Caribbean mode, there's one of those for sale too (as written about on this website recently).
If you decide to buy this pirate ship; 1. great choice, not many people get to own one and 2. please invite us down for a visit so we can see what you decide to do with it.
